ONE OF A KIND JFK PT 109 SIGNED SCRIPT.
Incredibly, JFK signs a Navy Log TV script about his legendary PT 109 incident during World War II.
This rarity is a TV script dated June 26, 1957 and signed “John Kennedy”, for the Navy Log episode entitled PT 109. Even better, JFK inscribed it to actor Peter Miller, who played “McGuire” (the real – life PT109 radio man John McGuire), (8.75 x 11 inches). Inscribed in blue ink on the cover “To Peter Miller, John Kennedy, U.S. Senate, Mass.”
The episode is about Lieutenant John f. Kennedy’s heroic efforts during World War II to save his crew after their patrol boat had been cut in half by a Japanese destroyer and sank in the Pacific. The event made Kennedy a war hero and played a large part in winning over the American public precipitating his rise in politics, eventually placing him in the White House. Autographed material by JFK relating to this famous episode in his life are incredibly scarce and this signed PT 109 script is the best we’ve ever seen!
