BABE RUTH SIGNS THE STORY OF HIS LIFE
From a baseball standpoint, it may just be the greatest story ever told. An orphaned Babe Ruth overcomes numerous obstacles to become baseball’s savior and one of America’s most notable success stories. In 1948, author Bob Considine penned the biography, as well as the screenplay for the movie of the same title. Here’s a copy of his tome, which was signed by the “Sultan of Swat” and inscribed to Herbert Felson (9 out of 10). The book is in wonderful condition with some inoffensive wear to the dust jacket. This remains a rare signed book as Ruth passed away the same year it was published. Stated first edition.
