WARHOL’S ACTUAL FAMOUS AND ICONIC POLAROID CAMERA
Amazing foldable Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera that was personally owned and used by Warhol. Warhol was known for taking many photos with his Polaroid cameras, and he is seen doing so in several images. The camera was gifted by Warhol to his friend John Wilcock who confounded the magazine “Interview” with Warhol in 1969. Accompanied by a letter of provenance by John Wilcock, and is referenced in many photos of Warhol with a Polaroid SX-70 Land Camera. The contemporary pop master’s work commands some of the highest prices in the market, and here we have an actual tool Warhol used to make his artwork—an exceptional artifact.
